Aurora

I was listening to rain on the radio
it’s what plays between the other stations

it seems to be raining always there
a million drumsticks pounding
endlessly on a metal roof

a monsoon of sound
some call white noise
but I hear the greens and blues
of an audio aurora
when I close my eyes
